A formal letter is one that is written in a formal and dignified language and adheres to a specific structure. Such letters are sent to authorities, dignitaries, professionals, seniors, and so on, rather than to personal connections, friends, or relatives. Sir,
I have the honor to state that my eldest sister's wedding will take place on Monday, November 12th, 2021. As a result, I'll be staying at home to finish the ceremony's preparations and arrangements. So, from August 11th to August 13th, I will be unable to attend college. I'd like to bring to your attention that I am my parents the eldest son and my father places a great deal of reliance on me in this respect.

In the circumstances, I earnestly pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant me three days' leave in advance with effect from 11th August. I will be eternally grateful for your act of kindness.

Sir,
With respect and humble submission, I would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that I am a regular student of Class-VI, Section-A of your school. It isn't because of your broadened knowledge that our country is facing a dengue pandemic. I was dengue infected from November 20th to 22nd, 2018. As such, I could not attend my classes from November 20th to 22nd on account of a sudden attack of dengue fever.
I, therefore, earnestly pray and hope that you will be kind enough to grant me three days' leave of absence with effect from November 20th. I will be eternally grateful for your act of kindness.

Yours truly,

Subject: Application for seeking permission to go to study tour.

Sir,
With due respect, I on the behalf of the students of your school lay before you the following facts for your kind consideration and immediate action.

Next week, we'd want to go on a study excursion for some refreshments. We believe that by supplementing our textbooks with real-world experience, we will be able to learn more about a variety of topics. It also aids in making a positive escape from our mundane lives. We decided that we'd go to the Mazar of Khan Jahan Ali at Bagerhat in Khulna. It is known to you that Shat Gambuj Mosque is a historical place with ancient architecture. We studied the Shat Gambuj Mosque in our books. You know, mere bookish knowledge does not satisfy us unless we see things with our own eyes. As a result, we want to gather wisdom from the Khan Jahan Ali, Shat Gambuj Mosque, and the Islamic architecture of the time. It'll widen our wisdom and help us learn about a new historical place.

In the circumstances stated above, we pray and hope that you will be kind enough to permit us and give us financial support so that we can ensure a better study tour.

Yours faithfully,

Abrar Mahmud Shawon

Subject: Application for setting up a Computer Club.

Sir,
With due respect, we the students of your school, beg to lay before you the following facts for your kind and sympathetic consideration. Ours is a renowned and older school in Dhaka but the lack of a computer club at our school is a major disappointment. We live in a scientific era. We can't imagine science without computers. It is quite useful in many aspects of life, particularly for students. This school's learners are really interested in learning more about computers. Many pupils will learn how to use a computer if a computer club is established at our school. They will be able to put this information to the greatest possible use in their daily lives. On the other hand, many of us aren't able to buy a personal computer. To keep pace with the present world we have to equip ourselves with proper and perfect knowledge of computers. As such, we want to study computer science like any other subject.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be gracious enough to take the required measures to start a computer club at our school as soon as the new academic year begins. We will be eternally thankful to you for this act of charity.

Write an Application for Arranging Some Extra Classes on English.

Subject: Application for arranging some extra classes in English.

Sir,
With due respect and humble submission, we the students of your college, beg to lay before you the following facts for your great and sympathetic consideration. It is known to you that our HSC Examination is knocking at the door. There are just around two months till the examination begins. We are doing well in other subjects, but the majority of us performed poorly in English on past college exams. Furthermore, for those of us who are not fluent in English, regular lessons are insufficient. If you could organize some additional English sessions for us to assist us to cope with our weaknesses in this area, that would be fantastic. We feel that our English proficiency will help us achieve fantastic achievements. On the contrary, many of us aren't financially able to study with a private tutor. If you don't arrange extra classes, all our hopes and success will be nipped in the bud.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be gracious enough to take the required measures to start extra classes in English soon and obliged thereby.

Yours most obedient,

Shafin Ahmed
